“Even before I can remember, I’ve always been physically active (my dad put me in water skis at the age of 3). At the age of 17, while playing high school football, I suffered my first significant injury – a dislocated shoulder. At the age of 22, I joined the U.S. Army Infantry. Needless to say, the nature of this job took a toll on my body, leading to several more injuries that changed my health trajectory.
After years of self-treating my knee injuries, In 2023, I underwent meniscus repair surgery. Six months later I reinjured my meniscus and was back in the operating room.
